Description

This area is formed of water habitats in the system of fishponds and surrounding intensively used agricultural landscape in lowland.

Importance

It is an important breeding site of water bird species as Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina) and Little Bittern (Ixobrychus minutus). It is also important breeding and feeding habitat for Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus)

Common Skylark (Alauda arvensis), Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis), Bittern (Botaurus stellaris), Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus), Syrian Woodpecker (Dendrocopos syriacus), Red-backed Shrike (Lanius collurio), Common Stonechat (Saxicola torquata), Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur), Barred Warbler (Sylvia nisoria)
