King of the Danube sky

During winter months these impressive birds of prey gather along the Danube River. Annual count is taking place on the third January Saturday in Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. For the whole count, travel agency watching.sk had an observation stand at the Danubiana Gallery near Čunovo. Those who came before noon had the opportunity to see 3 White-tailed Eagles dancing in the sky. Later (after the count) we have seen one juvenile feeding on an island in Hrušovská zdrž water reservoir.
