Bird calls courses are a traditional part of our spring program for a couple of years. This year we planned them in two terms – April and May. The first one took place during the last April weekend and also the weather was typically April-crazy.

During April 11 – 13 2014 Pannonian Bird Experience, the central European bird fair, took place in Austrian Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park. Our travel agency participated as an exhibitor for the first time.

As a part of Pannonian Bird Experience 2014 – the central European Birdfair – we prepared a guided trip to site called Devínske jazero.

Extremely warm winter this year caused an early coming of spring. During our originally scheduled walk in the beginning of April we had the opportunity to see not only the first spring flowers, slowly fading away, but also species blooming (normally) later.

Last decade of March is regularly the time when first Barn Swallows reach Central Europe after the winter spent in Africa. We decided to arrange guided bike trip on Saturday and bird walk on Sunday.

The second Sunday in January we went to Hrušovská zdrž water reservoir under Bratislava to observe White-tailed Eagles.
