characteristics: Discover the beautiful nature of capital city. This area is an unique mosaic of steppe, forests, meadows, old quarries and riverside. Man can find here steppe habitats, orchid meadows, many endemic animal and plant species, rare insects, high diversity of snakes, butterflies, flowers. 119 bird species have been recorded in this small area, 84 of them breeding. During the days with fine weather and good visibility even the peaks of the Alps could be seen.
